Event Schedule - Parade Events

As the Chairman of the Parade Committee, I am asking for your help with this year’s parade events.  Every year, the Black Hawk County Republican elephant, along with walkers and Republican elected officials and candidates march in a number of local and small town parades.  Through these parade events, we show the local folks that we are involved and fired up about all of our candidates and that they should be too.  I am asking you to volunteer for at least 2 of this year’s parades (there may be as many as 6) and obviously, more would be better.  But let me tell you, this is one of the most fun and simple campaign activities you will ever be asked to participate in.  We walk with the elephant, smile and wave to the crowd.  At the smaller town events we are able to pass out candy to the kids, but the rules from parade to parade will vary.
