I am delighted to welcome you to the Graham County Republican web site.  It is the intent of the Executive Committee to place information on this site that will help you keep abreast of county events, and to make it easier to follow state and national Republican goals and philosophy.

The voters of Graham County have a heritage of strong personal values, love for the beautiful mountains, and respect for their neighbors.  These are characteristics that need to be cherished and maintained.  One way to keep these qualities strong and alive is to continue to be politically active in all elections.

Being politically active involves many attributes—listening, speaking, attending meetings, encouraging good candidates to run for office, and voting to mention just a few.  Your talents, gifts, and energy can be a positive influence on how our party operates.  I encourage you to join us in our work which is just beginning for the 2008 elections.

The citizens of Graham County have traditionally turned out in large numbers on election day—usually at the top, or near top, in percentage of registered voters voting in our state; however, in every election there is usually around 35 to 40 per cent who do not vote.  With your help our party can have greater participation in determining who will represent us at all levels of government.  On behalf of the Executive Committee and all of our elected Republican office holders, I invite you to become active in the Graham County Republican Party.
